About...
Educational philosophy and activities
I had my education for guitar pedagogue at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, where I graduated in 1979. It was a comprehensive education of 4 years both as an instrumentalist and teacher. Also music theory and ensemble was a part of the education as well as playing by ear. I think that music is an art of the ear and consequently to be learning music as well as playing technique has to take its starting point at the hearing.
Later I completed my skills with training in Hypnosis and Yoga. In the latter topic, I was a graduate yoga teacher at the Satyananda Yoga School in 1994.
Art practice is a refinement of the mind, which is why Yoga is such a great tool to constantly develop as a musician. To convey the art of music to my students I do my own material in the form of etudes, arrangements etc.
The objective.
I teach all levels and adapt the teaching to your needs. It is important that you have a goal with your guitar studies: You may have as a goal to play Requerdos the Alhambra, Lagrima, Here comes Pippi Longstocking or One Note Samba. Based on your goal, you get a syllabus in the shortest possible time will lead you there.
Study plan:
The study plan can, as said, be individually adapted or follow the grading system I am developing.
The degrees begin with a preschool, followed by 7 certification levels.
At each level you do, in addition to a performance test, also test in
1. Scales and arpeggios
2. Sight-reading
3. Aural
The highest degree is at university level, equivalent to approximately a Master's degree.
The material
The material you and I choose in consultation and after your technical level. I endeavor to create original material specifically tailored to your needs.
If you follow the certification plan, there are textbooks for each level. The first four of them I plan to publish in the first quarter of 2019.

About Siddhi
Siddhi Johan are my first names. Siddhi is a name given to me by an Indian yoga master named Swami Satyananda Saraswati. It is a Sanskrit name. When he gave me that name, he said: "IT MEANS spritual perfection". Something to strive for! Johan is the name my parents gave me.
